You can go through the drive-through, order a kids meal and not get strange looks from the fast food workers.
It was two in the afternoon, I hadn’t had anything to eat all day and knew I would be making supper for the kids in a few hours. The first stop sign after I leave the hospital is next to a fast food place and that drool inducing aroma of fresh fries drifted through my open window. Who was I to resist.
Sitting in my car looking at the menu I noticed a Care Bear down in the corner. I looked in the back seat, solid car seats, and over to the passenger seat covered with kid shoes and a Barbie. Done. I turned back to the black box and ordered a kids meal.
I enjoyed my mini food and looked at the cute Care Bear, who lights up with the push of a button, then picked my kids up from daycare and gave my daughter the toy. She loves it and gave me a big hug, perk number two.
So no guilt for me! Unless I take a look at my book and the scant amount of time it has received recently...we will just leave the guilty post for another day.
